My First Blog!
| Hello, My name's Brian. Welcome to my first blog. I thought I'd try something new. I have a livejournal, but I guess that doesn't satisfy my bragging needs, so here I am. I'm mostly using this for networking, etc. I'm a cartoonist/illustrator and I'm still on the lookout for my big break. I thought this might help me out. I have a portfolio on deviantart (here's my gallery), but I think I want a little more. It's good to get my work out there, but I thought I'd use this to promote it even more. I'm thinking that I might post a new drawing of mine on here every week or so. They'll be old ones that are already in the gallery, but here you'll get a closer look at it and a little more info about each piece. I think it's a good idea anyway. I'll still continue to update my deviantart, but I'll just update this too at the same time. We'll see how it works out. I'll try to post news about my artistic endeavors and whatnot. My personal stuff, if anyone's interested, will still be over at my Livejournal I guess that's it for now. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and checking out my work. Hi Brian, your art is really awesome...thanks so much for sharing.
I'm a writer and I come across many wonderful publications that are always on the lookout for nice artwork to accompany the written material and also as a cover for their ezine, literary journal, or sometimes actual print publications. Perhaps you should consider scouring the net in search of such publications and see if you can get some recognition and maybe even a buck or two.
Anyway, I really enjoyed looking at your art and I wish you much good luck!

Holy moly, I love me some Space Ghost! You are so freakin' talented. Your 'Yoda' drawing is phenominal. And I love your cartoony version of yourself. Keep up the good work!
